About Your New Job We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a Contact Center Platform Engineering team. You will design, develop and deliver scalable Workforce Management applications using Java, Spring Boot and React. Working closely with product owners, architects and cross-functional engineering teams, you’ll help shape technical solutions, contribute to architectural decisions and deliver high-quality software. This is a hands-on senior engineering role where you’ll take ownership of complex development work, influence engineering best practices and mentor junior developers. You’ll contribute to platforms supporting agent desktops, routing, IVR capabilities and real-time customer service experiences. What Skills You Need * 5+ years’ experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack engineering * Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience * Proficiency in React or modern JavaScript frameworks * Experience designing and developing REST APIs * Demonstrated experience designing and building distributed systems * Working knowledge of event-driven architecture patterns * Strong understanding of software design patterns and engineering fundamentals * Experience working in Agile or SAFe development environments * Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or OpenAI Codex * Ability to contribute to technical design discussions, conduct code reviews and mentor developers * Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience Desirable * Experience with Apache Kafka or similar streaming platforms * Knowledge of Workforce Management systems or contact centre technologies * Familiarity with SIP, WebRTC and CTI protocols * Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Jest, Playwright or React Testing Library * Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design * Previous experience mentoring junior engineers * Experience operating within a service ownership model, taking responsibility across the full software lifecycle * Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP What’s on Offer * Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale contact centre technology * Exposure to modern Java, Spring Boot, React and distributed systems * Involvement in architectural decisions and technical strategy * Opportunity to mentor developers and influence engineering standards * Salary + bonus and competitive benefits
