Why Mabasa exists

A job search can spread across job boards, group links, saved documents and email. Mabasa is built by Taku in Zimbabwe to bring those everyday pieces together, so it is easier to see an opportunity and keep track of your next step.

Local focus, with international discovery

Mabasa is a job aggregator and application tracker for people searching from Zimbabwe. Browse the Zimbabwe catalogue, narrow it to Harare or Bulawayo, or research remote opportunities. International results are not a promise that every employer accepts applicants based in Zimbabwe.

Where the listings come from

Jobs are supplied by external publishers and the public catalogue identifies each source. Local sources include VacancyMail, iHarare and VacancyBox where listings are available. Source coverage and counts change. Read the original advert to verify the employer, deadline and application route; a publisher name is not necessarily the hiring employer.

Freshness and duplicate listings

Updates depend on ingestion runs and the original publishers. Mabasa does not promise a fixed refresh interval or that every external advert remains open. Public pages distinguish original publication dates from discovery dates, hide known expired listings from collections and suppress job markup on closed or incomplete records. Deduplication and source checks can be imperfect: compare the employer, role and reference before applying twice.

Browse jobs, bookmark roles, track applications and use CV templates without creating an account. Free CV generation is limited to three per day. Guest records stay in your browser; clearing storage or changing devices can remove access. PDF generation sends CV content to our server, and paid AI tools process what you submit.

Assistance, with clear limits

Optional AI memberships add CV analysis and job-fit assistance. You choose where to apply and follow the original listing’s instructions. Mabasa does not guarantee the accuracy or availability of third-party listings, interviews or job offers. Hoist is a separate product in development; automatic applications are not a current Mabasa feature.
