Senior Data Analyst - Data

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support healthcare payment analysis, medical review evaluation, and policy research efforts that help strengthen federal healthcare programs. The salary range for a candidate with the required qualifications is $80,000 - $95,000 per year. The salary range for a candidate with the preferred qualifications is $110,000 - $130,000 per year. * Responsibilities: + Integrate datasets tracking healthcare billing and payment, medical reviews, and related operations + Construct summaries and analyses for monitoring healthcare payments and evaluating medical review activities + Contribute to research questions related to federal healthcare policy and payments through data querying and analysis + Collaborate with a multi-skilled team of analysts and policy experts on project-based work * Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical field, such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or epidemiology, or similar academic experience + 2+ years in data analysis related to healthcare + Proficiency in Excel + Proficiency in programming for data analysis in a language such as Python, R, SAS, or STATA * Preferred Qualifications: + 2+ years in data analysis related to Medicare + Familiarity with Medicare claims data + Data analysis proficiency in Python + Querying proficiency in SQL + Experience with the Integrated Data Repository (IDR) claims database * Other Requirements: + Eligibility for federal background checks, including residence in the United States for at least 3 years out of the past 5 years
