Senior Accounts Officer

We're looking for a capable **Senior Accounts Officer** to join our Head Office team in Pinkenba. You'll work across the finance function of a national business, with exposure to reporting, budgeting, controls and day\-to\-day accounting operations, directly alongside our Financial Controller. **What you'll be doing** * General ledger and month\-end processes * Processing weekly payroll and completing payroll reconciliations * Preparing P\&L and balance sheet reports * Overseeing and supporting AP and AR functions * Investigating discrepancies and resolving accounting issues * Assisting with internal and external audits * Working closely with the Financial Controller on broader finance matters **What we're looking for** * Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance (preferred) * Experience processing payroll * Strong problem\-solving skills and commercial thinking * Strong Excel and financial analysis skills * Pronto or Employment Hero experience is a bonus, not a requirement * Availability to work full\-time from our Pinkenba office **What's on offer** * Above\-market salary * Work directly with the Financial Controller * Opportunity to develop towards 2IC finance role * Broad exposure across reporting, budgeting and payroll * National business with multi\-site exposure * Dedicated onsite parking and no CBD commute **About us** Sherrin Rentals has been operating since 1968 hiring heavy equipment and mobile plant to civil, construction, mining and infrastructure customers across Australia. **Apply now** or call **Katie** on **07 3635 4500** for more information!
