SIE is looking for a skilled and experienced **Senior Structural Engineer** with a strong background in bridge design and transportation infrastructure projects to join our growing team. **Responsibilities** * Lead the planning, analysis, and design of bridge and transportation structures. * Manage structural engineering tasks for local and state infrastructure projects * Prepare and review construction documents, plans, specifications, and engineering calculations. * Perform structural analysis and design of bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and related transportation structures. * Ensure designs comply with all applicable standards and codes * Provide technical leadership and quality control reviews for project deliverables. * Support project management activities including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and client communications. **Qualification & Skills:** * Active New York and New Jersey PE License required * Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering * At least 10-15 years of recent bridge structural design experience * Familiarity with NYSDOT, TBTA, PANYNJ, NYCT, MNR, LIRR, and other NY and NJ agencies * Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as CSiBridge, SAP2000, STAAD, LEAP Bridge, or similar. * Strong Microstation/AutoCAD skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Driver's License * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Expected salary range is $125,000 - $165,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
