Our work includes commercial and residential construction, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, renovation, and related engineering services. As our project volume continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated **Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager Trainee** who wants to build a long\-term career in construction project management. The right candidate will work directly with company leadership and learn how construction projects move from contract and permitting through scheduling, inspections, material procurement, construction, and closeout. Responsibilities You will assist with: * Tracking permits, permit submissions, and approvals * Scheduling and tracking inspections * Maintaining project schedules and internal project calendars * Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project teams * Following up on material orders and delivery schedules * Requesting and organizing vendor and subcontractor quotes * Maintaining project folders, contracts, permits, drawings, and other documentation * Preparing purchase orders and basic project paperwork * Tracking project deadlines and outstanding items * Assisting Project Managers with day\-to\-day project coordination * Communicating project updates internally * Assisting with change orders and project closeout documentation * Performing basic quantity takeoffs and plan review as training progresses What We Are Looking For We are open to both recent graduates and candidates with early construction experience. Preferred backgrounds include: * Construction Management * Civil Engineering * Mechanical Engineering * Electrical Engineering * Architecture * Engineering Technology * Business or Project Management with construction interest Qualifications * Strong organizational skills * Comfortable managing multiple deadlines * Strong written and verbal communication * Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and email * Able to learn construction drawings and project documentation * Detail\-oriented and willing to follow up until a task is completed * Comfortable communicating with contractors, vendors, inspectors, and clients * Reliable transportation preferred Experience with any of the following is a plus, but **not required**: * Bluebeam * AutoCAD * Revit * Procore or other construction management software * Permit applications * Construction estimating * Reading architectural or engineering plans Training \& Career Growth We do not expect an entry\-level candidate to already know how to manage an entire construction project. You will receive hands\-on training in: * Permitting * Inspection coordination * Project scheduling * Material procurement * Construction documentation * Subcontractor coordination * Project budgeting * Change orders * Project closeout Our goal is to develop the right candidate through a career path such as: **Project Coordinator → Assistant Project Manager → Project Manager** This position is ideal for someone who wants real exposure to how a construction company operates rather than spending years performing only one narrow task. What We Value We value people who: * Take ownership of their work * Ask questions when they do not know something * Follow through on assignments * Communicate clearly * Are willing to learn quickly * Can work independently after training * Want to grow with a smaller company rather than simply fill a position Compensation **$23–$27/hour**, depending on experience and ability. Part\-time candidates may be considered initially, with the opportunity to transition into a full\-time position based on performance and company growth. To Apply Please submit your resume and briefly tell us: * Your educational or construction background * Why you are interested in construction project management * Your current availability * Whether you are seeking part\-time or full\-time employment Pay: $23\.00 \- $27\.00 per hour Expected hours: 20\.0 – 40\.0 per week Work Location: Hybrid remote in Baltimore, MD 21202
