Construction Manager

**Job Description:** **CastleRock Communities**is a Texas Homebuilder looking to hire a new construction manager to join our team. We need both experienced and inexperienced construction managers looking for long term career and growth opportunities. The Construction Manager works under the guidance of a seasoned Project Manager to coordinate new home building activities in accordance with company standards, budget, and schedule while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction throughout the construction process. He or She will supervise trade partners, coordinate building processes, and communicate with other departments to ensure all required materials; equipment and inspections support the building schedule. Construction Manager candidates are extremely organized and detail-oriented team players with excellent customer service skills and a CAN DO attitude! **Position Duties & Responsibilities:** - Manage construction during all phases - Troubleshoot and monitor quality standards and practices of trade partners, ensuring job site safety at all times - Coordinate workflow and activities of multiple trade partners - Communicate with homeowners throughout the construction of their home - Schedule city inspections, technicians, pre-walk through inspections, and buyer orientations - Conduct pre-walk through inspection and buyer orientation in a timely manner - Work with purchasing department to verify completion of change orders and contract options - Oversee maintenance of all models in community **Skills / Requirements:** - Customer-oriented attitude - Strong communication and organizational skills - Team-player with ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and build relationships with team members, trades, and customers - Strong work ethic - Willingness to take charge and make decisions. - Ability to work outside. - Managerial Experience Preferred **Compensation:** - Starting base salary depends on experience. - CM Bonuses averaging $15,000 a year plus NO bonus ceiling. $58,000 is the current record! - Education Bonus to $4,000 a year. - Vehicle and IT allowance to $3,360 a year. **Benefits:** - 401k Retirement Plan with Profit Sharing - Employee Assistance Program - Tuition Assistance Program - Employee Discount Program - Paid Vacation - Paid Sick Leave - Paid Funeral Leave - Paid Jury Duty - Medical & Rx Insurance with Employer Contributions up to over $10,000 per year. - Dental Insurance - Vision Insurance - Life Insurance - Supplemental Insurance Products available as well. **Job Type: Full-time** **Salary: $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year** Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Disability insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Retirement plan * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: * Construction Experience: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
