Senior Structural Engineer

What we design: a wide variety of building structures utilizing concrete, steel, masonry, and wood construction. Structures include but are not limited to: commercial office buildings, multi\-story residential developments, multi\-story storage buildings, public sector buildings, and more. **Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:** * Design of a wide variety of building structures utilizing concrete, steel, masonry, and wood construction. * Structures will be commercial office buildings, multi\-story residential developments, multi\-story storage buildings, public sector buildings, and other. * Oversee construction administration activities on projects * Monitor, manage and achieve all assigned project deadlines * Ensure that clients are completely satisfied with all aspects of engineering services * Providing office leadership for the firm. **Requirements:** * B.S. Civil Engineering; M.S degree a plus, emphasis on structures * Licensed PE * Minimum of 15 years experience in design of multi\-story buildings at structural consulting firm(s) * Experience managing projects and clients * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Experience working collaboratively within a team environment * Experience in design using engineering software such as ETABS, RISA, SAFE, STAAD, RAM SS, ADAPT, EnerCalc. **Location:** Washington, D.C. Pay: $103,282\.56 \- $124,383\.30 per year Work Location: In person
