Full-Time Acute Care Physical Therapist (32 hours)

**Role:** The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity, ensuring care is cost\-effective, quality\-focused, and compliant with regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Patient Assessment:** Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies tailored to patient needs. * **Treatment Planning and Care:** Implement and adjust therapy plans, select appropriate activities, provide patient and family education, and deliver discharge instructions and referrals. * **Documentation:** Record evaluations, treatment sessions, family education, and discharge details according to departmental guidelines. * **Professional Conduct:** Uphold ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, punctuality, and adhere to dress code and safety protocols. * **Customer Service \& Teamwork:** Foster a positive environment, communicate effectively, demonstrate respect, support teamwork, and apply service recovery principles. * **Professional Development:** Participate in ongoing education, complete required competencies, and assist in training new staff. **Qualifications \& Skills:** * Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. * Licensure as a Physical Therapist and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
