Job description from the source

### **TRELLIS BUILDS AND DEPLOYS SELF-IMPROVING AGENTS TO GET PATIENTS ACCESS TO LIFE-SAVING MEDICINE.** Our AI agents process billions of dollars worth of therapies annually with patients in all fifty states. We do this by automating document intake, prior authorizations, and appeals at scale to streamline operations and accelerate care. We classify medical referrals, understand chart notes, and automate contract and reimbursement search to provide patients with accurate coverage determinations and cost responsibility. Think of us as the infrastructure behind how patients get their medications. Trellis is a spinout from Stanford AI Lab and is backed by leading investors including YC, General Catalyst, Telesoft Partners, and executives at Google and Salesforce. ### **THE ROLE** We're hiring a Solutions Consultant to help our sales team win. You'll build the custom demos, business cases, and materials that show each prospect exactly what Trellis will do for their patients and their team. You'll work alongside our Account Executives, GTM Engineer, and deployment team, and report to Mike Barbour (VP of Sales). We sell to specialty pharmacies, infusion centers, provider groups (oncology, neurology, rheumatology, dermatology), and health systems. Every one of them runs intake and prior authorization a little differently. Your job is to understand how each prospect works today and show them, with their own workflows and numbers, what changes with Trellis. ### **WHAT YOU'LL DO** * **Build custom demos:** Tailor demos to each prospect's drugs, payers, EMR, and workflows so buyers see their own operation, not a generic product tour * **Create sales materials:** Build prospect-specific decks, one-pagers, ROI models, and business cases for operations, revenue cycle, and executive buyers * **Run technical discovery:** Join sales calls to map current workflows, systems, and pain points, and scope what a pilot should prove * **Answer the hard questions:** Handle technical, security, and integration questions, and own RFP and questionnaire responses with input from engineering * **Set up deployments to succeed:** Hand off clear scope and success metrics to our deployment team so pilots convert to production * **Improve the playbook:** Turn what works into reusable demo environments, templates, and talk tracks for the whole team ### **ABOUT YOU** You're equal parts technical and commercial. You enjoy learning how a complex operation really works, and you're great at turning that into a story a buyer believes. You care about the details in a demo because you know they're what make it land. ### **WHAT YOU'LL BRING** * 3+ years as a solutions consultant, sales engineer, implementation consultant, or in a similar customer-facing technical role * Experience building demos and business cases for complex B2B or enterprise products * **Comfort with technical concepts:** integrations, APIs, data, and security reviews * Strong presentation and writing skills, with experience in front of senior buyers * Experience selling AI or workflow automation products is a plus * Healthcare, pharmacy, or revenue cycle experience is a big plus * High ownership and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving startup ### **WHY WORK WITH US** * **Real impact at massive scale:** We serve patients in all fifty states and are scaling to hundreds of healthcare locations. Every deal you help close means more patients starting therapy sooner. * **Incredible growth and traction:** We've grown revenue 10x in the past few months alone. * **Work with the founding team:** Partner directly with founders and F500 customers, alongside healthcare operations leaders who have overseen 50+ locations. * **Be at the forefront of AI in healthcare:** Work on production-grade agentic systems that make critical healthcare decisions, not a demo. * **World-class team:** Join teammates who have won international physics olympiads, published economics research, were founding engineers at unicorn startups, and taught AI classes to hundreds of Stanford graduate students. Compensation Range: $183K - $212K
