Senior Software Engineer

Nuvarik Partners is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Wichita Falls, TX to help design, build and improve software applications while contributing technical direction across development projects. This is a hands\-on engineering role for someone who is comfortable working across the software development lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to work on application architecture, development, testing, troubleshooting and deployment while collaborating with engineers, product teams and business stakeholders. Key Areas of Responsibility * Design and develop new software applications and features * Improve existing systems for performance, reliability and scalability * Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions * Build and maintain APIs and application services * Work with relational and non\-relational databases * Write clean, maintainable and well\-tested code * Review code and provide constructive technical feedback * Investigate bugs, system issues and production problems * Develop unit and integration tests * Participate in system design and technical planning * Support application releases and deployments * Work with Git and modern development tools * Collaborate with product, QA and other technical teams * Document technical solutions and system changes * Help improve development standards and engineering practices * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers Technical Experience * 5\+ years of professional software development experience * Strong experience with at least one modern programming language * Experience building applications, APIs or enterprise software * Solid understanding of software design and development principles * Experience working with SQL and databases * Familiarity with Git and version control * Experience with software testing, debugging and code reviews * Understanding of Agile development practices * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * Good communication and collaboration skills * Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud is a plus * Experience with CI/CD, Docker or DevOps tools is a plus * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field is preferred The Working Environment * Full\-time position * Wichita Falls, TX * Standard business hours * Collaborative software development environment * Compensation based on experience and qualifications Ready to Build Something?
