Principal Product Designer, Onboarding

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Designer, Onboarding to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will shape the end-to-end onboarding experience for a complex product ecosystem, helping new users get started quickly and confidently. You will partner closely with product management, engineering, customer success, and support to simplify setup flows, improve adoption, and create cohesive experiences across multiple surfaces. The work blends systems thinking, hands-on interaction design, and research-driven decision-making to reduce friction and strengthen product engagement. You will also help define reusable design patterns, balance self-service with guided assistance, and elevate the quality of onboarding through prototypes, critique, and cross-functional influence.
