**Job Summary** We’re seeking a caring, adaptable Teacher ready to help students build skills, confidence, and independence. You’ll plan engaging instruction, support varied learning needs, and partner with families and colleagues. this role involves teaching middle and high school students across various core subjects. Experience with special education an excellent classroom management needed. Your impact: Individualized instruction helps students access learning, participate in class, and make progress toward their goals. **Responsibilities** * Teach and build on curriculum and lesson plans in literacy, math, and other learning areas; adapt instruction to students’ needs. * Use classroom management and behavior management strategies, including appropriate instructional modifications and applied behavior analysis (ABA) when applicable. * Support students with disabilities through individualized instruction and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); follow applicable education requirements. * Integrate learning technology and educational technology into lessons, and collaborate with teachers, families, and support professionals. * Monitor learning, provide tutoring or mentoring as appropriate, and communicate student progress and concerns to parents. **Skills** * CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT * Teaching or classroom experience, including experience working with children or individuals with learning disabilities. * Knowledge of childhood development, special education, classroom and behavior management, IEPs, special education law, and educational compliance. * Strong communication, collaboration, lesson-planning, and curriculum-development skills; literacy education and math instruction. * Relevant experience so include working with school-age students and accommodating individual needs.
