Accountant, Corporate Finance & Reporting

**Summary** We are looking for a detail\-oriented and Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team at Scoot. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end\-to\-end financial closing activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and supporting compliance with accounting standards. You will partner closely with cross\-functional teams to deliver timely financial insights, support audit requirements, and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and governance. **Job Description** **Key Responsibilities** * Handle monthly, quarterly, and year\-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. * Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and supporting schedules in compliance with accounting standards. * Assist in the preparation of statistics for all surveys * Collaborate closely with other business units to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies. * Assist in audits by providing required documentation and explanations. * Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline/ACCA/ACCA equivalent * Strong analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to articulate financial insights clearly. * Detail\-oriented, committed to accuracy and deadline driven * Excellent communication skills to work effectively across departments. * Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. * Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) is an advantage.
