Job description from the source

**Investment Analyst \| Hyperscale Data Centres** AI is driving the biggest build\-out of digital infrastructure Australia has seen, and power is now the deciding factor in where it gets built. This role sits right where those two meet. My client is a well\-backed developer and operator of hyperscale data centre campuses across Asia\-Pacific, with a multi\-gigawatt pipeline in Australia and leadership drawn from the world's largest cloud businesses. They're building out their Australian investment team and want an analyst who can grow with the platform. **What you'll do** * Build and own financial models for campus developments, covering capex, lease economics, debt sizing and returns * Support site acquisition and feasibility work from first look through to investment committee * Prepare investment committee papers and present your analysis to senior leadership * Analyse grid connection and power supply options, including renewable PPAs * Work alongside advisers and lenders on debt and equity processes * Track the market: demand, pricing and competitor pipelines **What you'll bring** * 2 to 4 years in infrastructure or renewables investment, transaction advisory, project finance or investment banking * Strong financial modelling skills you can defend line by line * Exposure to project finance or capital\-intensive infrastructure * Data centre experience is a bonus, not a requirement. If you've modelled renewables, BESS or grid connections, your skills transfer directly. * Comfort working in a growing team where ownership comes early **Why this one** You'll be in early on one of the largest infrastructure stories in the country, with real exposure to deals and decision\-makers, and a clear runway as the team scales.
