Management Accountant

As the business continues to grow across international markets, we're looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team in Cork and play a key role in supporting the financial management and reporting of their expanding group of companies. **The Opportunity** This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working in a fast\-paced, high\-growth environment. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll take ownership of management accounting, forecasting, reporting, and financial controls across the group. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts across the Group * Manage month\-end close processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments * Produce management and statutory accounts and present financial information to senior leadership * Lead the annual budgeting process * Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts * Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements * Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors * Manage treasury activities and cash flow reporting * Oversee statutory compliance, including VAT returns and corporation tax requirements * Support wider finance operations and contribute to process improvements and ad hoc projects **About You** You are a proactive, detail\-oriented finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys contributing to a growing business. **Essential Requirements:** * Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) * Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role * Strong technical accounting knowledge * Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills * Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders * High attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team **Desirable:** * Experience with cloud\-based accounting systems * Experience working in a scaling or high\-growth business environment
