**Dr. O'Neal ($1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!)** **This position is:** Full-Time **Position Location:** Lake Charles, LA **JOB DESCRIPTION** **Job Title:** Certified Medical Assistant **GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:** Certified Medical Assistant is needed to provide office duties in a medical office setting. Duties include vital signs, rooming patients, prescription refills, lab and imaging order entry, EMR data entry, and telephone triage. This is a permanent, 40-hour per week, benefits-eligible position. **REQUIREMENTS:** * National medical assistant certification required. Non-certified medical assistants must have at least two years of medical office experience in order to qualify. * Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
