Senior Software Engineer

**What You'll Do** * Design, build and maintain scalable, secure backend services and APIs that power our core products * Own features end to end, from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment and monitoring * Make architecture decisions with a focus on performance, reliability and security * Review code and mentor junior and mid-level engineers to raise the team's engineering standards * Work closely with product, design and business stakeholders to turn requirements into practical technical solutions * Improve CI/CD pipelines, observability and development workflows * Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause fixes **What We're Looking For** * 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong track record of shipping production systems * Proficiency in at least one backend language such as [Go / Python / Java / Rust] * Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB) * Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD * Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems and API design * Good communication skills and comfort working with cross-border teams * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience **Nice to Have** * Experience with smart contracts (Solidity) * Familiarity with security best practices and handling sensitive financial data * Experience in a startup or fast-growing environment **What We Offer** * Remote working arrangements * Medical and dental coverage
