We’re changing who gets to build the future. **The Opportunity** We’re looking for a hands-on Founding Software Engineer to help build the next evolution of SideKix, our product, technology, and engineering culture. **What You’ll do** * Help lead development of the SideKix iOS app, bringing deep expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Apple’s development ecosystem. * Partner with our iOS product team to bring SideKix to market, translating Figma designs into polished, intuitive experiences that follow Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines. * Review and improve our existing iOS codebase, strengthening architecture, performance, stability, and maintainability before launch. * Build and maintain integrations for APIs, authentication, AI features, voice interactions, payments, and cloud services. * Own Apple platform integrations, including in app purchases, subscriptions, push notifications, and Sign in with Apple. * Manage iOS testing, automated builds, TestFlight distribution, App Store submissions, and release management, including resolving App Review feedback. * Diagnose crashes, optimize app responsiveness and memory usage, and use analytics and member feedback to improve the experience. * Support Flutter development for Android and Web as needed, with native iOS as the primary focus. * Write clean, maintainable, well documented code and establish strong engineering practices. **What You Bring** * Proven track record building, shipping, and iterating on production software. * Strong experience building mobile and web applications with Swift, Flutter, APIs, AWS, Stripe, and Firebase. * Experience designing scalable application architecture and creating reliable, maintainable systems. * A founder mindset: comfortable taking ownership, solving ambiguous problems, and moving between technical execution and product strategy. * Experience managing production releases, deployments, app store submissions, testing, and ongoing product improvements. * Passion for AI-driven personalization, thoughtful user experiences, and human-centered design. * Familiarity with Figma, analytics tools, monitoring platforms, and modern development workflows. * **Bonus:** Experience building products for small businesses, creators, education, or community-driven platforms. **Why Join Now** * **Founding-level equity:** Earn meaningful ownership in a mission-driven company building the future of entrepreneurship. * **Shape the foundation:** Influence product decisions, technical direction, engineering practices, and the culture from the beginning. * **Build with purpose:** Create technology that helps more people access the tools, guidance, and support needed to turn ideas into successful businesses. * **High ownership, high impact:** Your decisions and your code will directly shape the experience of entrepreneurs using SideKix every day.
