Assistant Bar Manager

**Job Summary** Bittercreek Alehouse is seeking an organized and hands\-on Assistant Bar Manager to support daily beverage operations, assist with team leadership, and help maintain excellent service standards. This role works closely with the Bar Manager and front\-of\-house team to keep the bar running efficiently while delivering a strong guest experience. **Responsibilities** * Support the Bar Manager with daily bar operations and shift leadership. * Assist with training, coaching, and supervising bartenders and bar support staff. * Help coordinate staff coverage and maintain smooth service during busy periods. * Monitor beverage inventory and communicate ordering or replenishment needs. * Assist with receiving, storage, organization, and rotation of beverage products. * Maintain drink quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service standards. * Support accurate POS transactions, cash handling, and end\-of\-shift procedures. * Respond to guest concerns and help resolve service issues professionally. * Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain efficient operations. * Ensure bar areas and storage spaces remain clean, organized, and properly stocked. * Follow Idaho alcohol\-service, sanitation, and workplace\-safety requirements. * Step into hands\-on bartending duties when needed during high\-volume shifts. **Qualifications** * Previous bartending, bar\-supervisory, or restaurant leadership experience preferred. * Strong knowledge of beer, cocktails, spirits, and beverage service. * Ability to coach and support team members effectively. * Strong communication, organization, and problem\-solving skills. * Comfortable working in a fast\-paced hospitality environment. * Dependable, professional, and attentive to operational details. * Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. * Must meet applicable Idaho requirements for alcohol service. **Benefits** * Competitive annual salary * Full\-time management opportunity * Employee dining benefits * Leadership and professional development * On\-the\-job training * Opportunities for advancement within the hospitality team **About The Company** Bittercreek Alehouse is a downtown Boise restaurant and alehouse known for its beer\-focused beverage program, food, and casual social atmosphere.
