Job description from the source

**About The Role** The role builds and maintains native mobile applications used daily by a large, growing user base, owning features end-to-end from architecture through release on both iOS and Android. You will work closely with product designers, backend engineers, and QA to ship polished, performant mobile experiences, with direct ownership of release quality, crash-free rates, and app store performance. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, build, and maintain native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and/or Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose) features across multiple product surfaces * Implement clean, testable mobile architectures (MVVM, MVI, or similar) with proper separation of concerns and dependency injection * Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, handling offline caching, sync strategies, and error states for unreliable network conditions * Own app performance: reduce launch times, memory footprint, and ANRs/jank, and maintain crash-free session rates above 99% * Set up and improve CI/CD pipelines for mobile using Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise, including automated testing and staged rollouts * Instrument analytics and monitoring (Firebase, Amplitude, Crashlytics/Sentry) and use production data to drive prioritization * Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship of mid-level engineers on mobile best practices **What We Are Looking For** * 3+ years of professional mobile engineering experience shipping consumer-facing apps on iOS, Android, or both * Strong proficiency in Swift and/or Kotlin, with hands-on production experience in SwiftUI or Jetpack Compose * Experience integrating and debugging network layers (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets) and persistent local storage (Core Data, Room, SQLite) * Track record of shipping through the full release cycle: App Store / Play Store submissions, feature flags, and phased rollouts * Solid grasp of concurrency (GCD, async/await, Coroutines), memory management, and mobile UI performance profiling * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience * Bonus: cross-platform experience (React Native, Flutter, KMP), mobile security best practices, accessibility (WCAG/VoiceOver/TalkBack), or experience at 1M+ DAU scale
