Kitchen Manager

**Kitchen Manager** Oversees a kitchen’s daily operations, including food preparation and workspace sanitization. They ensure employees have the resources they need to work efficiently, prepare high\-quality food and maintain health and hygiene standards. The kitchen manager has management, administrative and compliance responsibilities. Duties include: * Optimizing kitchen layout and workflow to improve efficiency * Monitoring cleanliness, sanitation and food\-handling practices * Implementing strategies for inventory management, food storage and ordering * Training and managing kitchen employees * Developing the menu and weekly specials in collaboration with the head chef/owner and general manager * Establishing standard operating procedures, such as opening and closing procedures for each staff member * Managing the kitchen budget with the head chef/owner * Communicating repairs and maintenance needed for kitchen equipment, including fryers, refrigerators and ovens with general manager Pay: $40,000\.00 \- $50,000\.00 per year Benefits: * Employee discount * Paid time off * Paid training Work Location: In person
