Senior Stormwater Program Engineer – Capital Projects

**Take stormwater projects from problem identification to construction.** The City of Tallahassee is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer to help deliver its Stormwater Capital Improvement Program. This is an opportunity to manage meaningful public infrastructure projects that reduce flooding, protect water quality and improve community safety. The position provides substantial responsibility for reviewing and directing consultant work and making the engineering and project\-management decisions necessary to move complex stormwater improvements from concept through construction. **Salary** Pay range: $33\.7570 to $91\.6022 hourly Salary will be based on the qualifications of the selected candidate. **What You'll Do** * Manage stormwater capital projects throughout their lifecycle, from concept through construction * Perform engineering analysis and design * Manage consultants, including scopes and contracts and the review and direction of consultant work * Manage project budgets and schedules * Coordinate permitting, land acquisition and procurement * Coordinate public involvement and provide construction support **The Ideal Candidate** We are looking for an experienced PE with a strong background in stormwater, drainage and/or municipal infrastructure who is ready to take ownership of significant public projects. The position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies and other City departments while representing the owner throughout project development and implementation.
