Bar Manager

**Job Summary** Modern Bar and Restaurant is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to oversee beverage operations, lead the bar team, and maintain a high standard of guest service. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and daily bar operations while being comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment. **Responsibilities** * Oversee daily bar operations and service flow. * Lead, train, and support bartenders and bar staff. * Maintain beverage quality, presentation, and service standards. * Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and product storage. * Monitor beverage costs, waste, and inventory levels. * Prepare staff schedules and coordinate shift coverage. * Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar. * Handle guest concerns and resolve service issues professionally. * Ensure responsible alcohol\-service and safety procedures are followed. * Support special events, promotions, and daily restaurant operations. **Qualifications** * Previous bar management or supervisory experience preferred. * Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer. * Excellent communication and team\-leadership skills. * Experience with POS systems and inventory control. * Strong customer\-service and problem\-solving abilities. * Organized, dependable, and detail\-oriented. * Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. **Benefits** * Competitive Boise\-area management salary * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Paid time off * 401(k) matching * Employee discount * Opportunities for advancement **About The Company** Modern Bar and Restaurant is located inside the Modern Hotel in downtown Boise's Linen District.
