K-3 Teacher

**Christian Based Nature and STEM Program** We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutor/Teacher to join our educational team and to teach a dynamic Christ centered curriculum. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment for young learners, K-2. We are a STEM program located in SE Gilbert. This role involves developing lesson plans, implementing curriculum, tutoring and assessing student progress in a supportive classroom setting. **Duties** * Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. * Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. * Teach various subjects, including physical education, while adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. * Assess and evaluate student performance through regular testing and feedback. * Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development. * Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in teaching. * Provide individualized support to students as needed, ensuring all learners have the opportunity to succeed. * Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; certification in Early Childhood Education is preferred. * Experience working with children in a classroom setting is highly desirable. * Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management. * Ability to write clear instructional materials and proofread documents for accuracy. * Experience teaching physical education is a plus. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. * A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs.
