IV Specialist - Registered Nurse (Part-Time)

**Work Location: Liquivida / DRIPBaR, located inside Massage \& Wellness Spa** * **Hours:** Approximately 15–20 hours per week * **Compensation:** $30–$40 per hour, based on experience * **Position Type:** 1099 independent contractor * **Openings:** One part\-time position Use your ER experience and IV skills in a welcoming wellness setting. Massage \& Wellness Spa is seeking a dependable part\-time RN to provide attentive client care as we introduce DRIPBaR and Liquivida services in Downtown Largo. **Essential Duties \& Responsibilities** * Review medical histories, medications, allergies, vital signs and required forms before treatment. * Evaluate, plan, implement and document nursing care according to authorized orders and approved protocols. * Insert, monitor and remove peripheral IV catheters. * Prepare and administer IV therapies and IM injections according to approved orders and safety procedures. * Monitor clients throughout treatment and promptly address concerns or adverse reactions. * Respond to emergencies according to established procedures. * Explain treatment expectations, potential risks and aftercare instructions. * Coordinate with the medical director and other healthcare providers regarding client care. * Maintain accurate and timely electronic treatment records. * Follow infection\-control, medication\-safety and applicable HIPAA requirements. * Maintain supplies, check expiration dates and keep treatment areas clean and organized. * Assist with scheduling, follow\-up and explaining approved wellness services and memberships. **Qualifications** * Excellent peripheral IV insertion skills, including experience accessing difficult veins. * Strong patient\-assessment skills and clinical judgment. * Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies. * Excellent bedside manner, communication and customer\-service skills. * Strong organization, attention to detail and electronic documentation skills. * Dependability and ability to work effectively with the clinical team. **Specific Qualifications** * Graduate of an accredited nursing program. * Active, unrestricted RN license authorizing practice in Florida. * Emergency room nursing experience required. * Minimum of two years of IV insertion and infusion experience. * Current healthcare\-provider BLS/CPR certification. * ACLS certification preferred. * Outpatient infusion or IV vitamin therapy experience preferred. **How to Apply** * Send your resume to **info@massageandwellness.com**. * Include your ER experience, recent IV experience, certifications and weekly availability.
