Senior Accountant – Investments **Dublin 2 \| Hybrid Working \| €70,000–€80,000 \+ Bonus \& Excellent Benefits** Lex Consultancy is delighted to be recruiting a **Senior Accountant – Investments** on behalf of a leading global financial services organisation based in stunning offices in Dublin 2\. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to develop specialist expertise in investment accounting, Private Equity, Private Credit and US GAAP, while working within a highly collaborative and supportive finance team with a fantastic team culture. Offering a competitive salary of **€70,000–€80,000, an annual bonus, hybrid working and an excellent benefits package** , this role provides the opportunity to build your career within a global organisation and gain exposure to complex investment structures and international financial reporting. **What's on offer?** * €70,000–€80,000 salary \+ annual bonus. * Hybrid working. * Stunning Dublin 2 offices. * Strong employer pension contribution and full private healthcare. * 25 days' annual leave, plus additional Wellness Days and CSR Days. * Life assurance and long\-term disability cover. * Professional development and training opportunities. * A supportive team culture and collaborative working environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Support monthly and quarterly investment portfolio reporting, including management, Board, GAAP, statutory and external reporting. * Prepare and review investment\-related journal entries, reconciliations and valuation analysis. * Support accounting activities relating to Private Credit and Private Equity investments. * Provide technical accounting support on complex investment and derivative transactions under US GAAP. * Maintain and enhance internal controls, including SOX 404 requirements. * Assist with audits and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. * Contribute to finance projects, process improvements and wider reporting initiatives. **What we're looking for:** * Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent). * Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline. * At least two years' Big Four audit experience, ideally with exposure to investments, asset management or financial services. * Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ideally including ASC 320, ASC 815, ASC 820 and ASC 825\. * Experience with SOX 404 and public company reporting would be advantageous. * Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines. **To apply or have a confidential conversation, contact Richard Minchin on the Lex Consultancy team.**
