Lead DevOps Engineer

IDR is seeking a **Lead DevOps Engineer** to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Brentwood, TN. In this role, you’ll provide technical leadership across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD to help scale and modernize a high-traffic digital commerce platform. You’ll partner closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to improve deployment reliability, automation, and overall production stability. **Position Overview for the Lead DevOps Engineer:** * Lead the design, buildout, and support of highly available cloud infrastructure and deployment platforms in Microsoft Azure * Own and standardize CI/CD pipelines (including reusable/shared workflows) to improve consistency and speed of delivery * Support and optimize Kubernetes (AKS) environments, including deployments, ingress, autoscaling, and production troubleshooting * Drive root-cause analysis across application, infrastructure, networking, and security layers to resolve complex production issues * Improve operational efficiency by automating manual processes with infrastructure-as-code and scripting **Requirements for the Lead DevOps Engineer:** * 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE, or related roles, including leading technical initiatives * Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in large-scale production environments (including AKS) * Proven ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions (including standardized/reusable pipelines) * Strong Kubernetes troubleshooting skills (scaling, networking, configuration, deployments) and experience with Helm and container technologies * Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform and scripting (Bash and/or Python) **What's in it for you?** * Competitive compensation package * Full Benefits; Medical, Vision, Dental, and more! * Opportunity to get in with an industry leading organization. **Why IDR?** * 25+ Years of Proven Industry Experience in 4 major markets * Employee Stock Ownership Program * Dedicated Engagement Manager who is committed to you and your success. * Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance * ClearlyRated's Best of Staffing® Client and Talent Award winner 12 years in a row.
