Pricing Analyst

**POSITION OVERVIEW** Primarily responsible for developing, administering, and optimizing pricing tools and processes necessary for business growth and profitability. Collaborates across internal teams and external customers to provide accurate pricing analysis, support major RFPs, and optimize efficiency. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** * **Cross-Functional Pricing:** Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Billing) and external customers to gather data for accurate, timely rate quotes. * **RFP Process Support:** Provide analytical support on larger Request for Proposal (RFP) opportunities through data analysis, financial modeling, and document preparation. * **Profitability & Efficiency Analysis:** Utilize pricing tools and software to conduct ongoing reviews of customer efficiency, lane performance, and profitability. * **Rate Research & Support:** Research, troubleshoot, and resolve rate-related questions from both internal and external stakeholders. * **Prioritization & Execution:** Effectively plan, organize, and prioritize high-volume workloads to meet strict operational deadlines. **QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred. * **Experience:** 1–3 years of pricing analysis experience in the transportation/logistics industry preferred. * **Data & Analytics:** Proficient in analyzing large datasets; intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel pivot tables, advanced formulas) required. * **Business Intelligence:** Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus; eagerness and willingness to learn is required. * **Core Competencies:** Strong collaborative mindset, proactive problem-solver confident in sharing data-backed opinions, and ability to prioritize under tight deadlines. **COMPANY EXPECTATIONS** All associates are expected to promote positive work habits (effective/timely communication, teamwork, and respect), provide constructive guidance to internal/external partners, and contribute to delivering the highest quality products and services to customers. ***Note:*** *The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
