We were recently engaged on a Senior Accountant search for a client of ours in the western Metro Detroit area. **Responsibilities of Senior Accountant** * Analyze financial data, create reports, and present findings to non\-financial stakeholders. * Manage accounting operations for a client, including general ledger, accounting, and tax filings. * Oversee AP/AR processes, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to enhance workflows, increase efficiencies, and execute special projects. * Assist in audits, budget development, and forecasts, offering recommendations and subject matter expertise **Requirements of Senior Accountant** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field * 5\+ years of accounting experience
