If you have strong design experience, knowledge of applicable codes and standards and proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit, we invite you to apply. **Key responsibilities** * Assist in the structural design of projects from the schematic phase through the construction phase * Draft structural systems for a variety of structures from start to finish with aid from the project manager * Coordinate closely with all MEPS disciplines for cohesive drawing package * Revise existing projects based on new information or permit comments * Work with Engineers to create construction documents using AutoCAD / Revit **Core Competencies** * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Positive and open\-minded attitude * Attention to detail * Accountability and initiative mindset **Qualifications** * Currently pursuing or completed Bachelor of Science from an ABET\-accredited university in Civil or Structural Engineering. * 0\-2 years experience. * Engineer Intern (EI) preferred or ability to obtain. * Minimum of 1 year Revit experience * Working knowledge of structural systems and building code and safety regulations * Knowledge and understanding of building construction regarding architectural and MEP preferred * Understanding of structural design concepts * Background in multifamily, ALFs, student housing, hotels, or commercial projects preferred * Capable of reading and interpreting 2D/3D drawings * Read, understand, and draft design instructions provided by Engineering team * Field experience or construction support a plus * Able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and written instruction Other duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
