Bar Manager

Job Description Library Restaurant \& Lounge is seeking an experienced and dependable **Bar Manager** to oversee daily bar operations and support the beverage and service team. This role involves coordinating staff, maintaining beverage and guest\-service standards, monitoring inventory and supplies, assisting guests, and helping ensure smooth operations throughout each shift. The ideal candidate has strong leadership and communication skills and is comfortable working in a busy restaurant and lounge environment. Key Responsibilities * Oversee daily bar operations and guest\-service activities * Coordinate bartender and bar staff assignments throughout each shift * Support and guide bartenders and service team members * Monitor beverage quality, order accuracy, cleanliness, and guest\-service standards * Assist with employee training, onboarding, and day\-to\-day coaching * Handle routine guest questions, requests, and service concerns professionally * Monitor beverage inventory, bar supplies, glassware, and service materials * Assist with ordering, receiving, organizing, and restocking bar supplies * Support POS operations and routine cash\-handling procedures * Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked bar and service areas * Help maintain efficient guest and order flow during busy service periods * Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists * Communicate staffing, inventory, supply, and operational needs to management * Follow food\-safety, sanitation, workplace, and company procedures Qualifications * Previous bar, restaurant, lounge, hospitality, or beverage\-service experience * Previous bartender, shift\-lead, or bar\-management experience is preferred * Strong leadership, communication, and customer\-service skills * Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility * Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast\-paced environment * Good attention to beverage quality, cleanliness, inventory, and service details * Familiarity with POS systems, inventory procedures, and bar operations is helpful * Able to train, support, and work effectively with a service team * Professional and respectful approach to guests and coworkers Benefits * On\-the\-job training and management support * Opportunities to develop leadership and bar\-management skills * Flexible scheduling may be available * Employee discounts or workplace perks may be available * Supportive and team\-oriented work environment * Additional benefits may vary by position and location About the Company Library Restaurant \& Lounge provides a welcoming restaurant and lounge environment focused on food, beverages, hospitality, and attentive guest service.
