SENIOR ACCOUNTANT & FINANCE SPECIALIST

**SENIOR ACCOUNTANT \& FINANCE SPECIALIST** **POSITION SUMMARY** Tripping Cool San Juan is looking for an experienced and hands\-on Senior Accountant \& Finance Specialist to manage the company’s day\-to\-day accounting and financial activities. We are looking for someone who is organized, analytical, reliable, and comfortable working independently. This person will work directly with management, vendors, payroll providers, and our CPA while keeping our financial information accurate, organized, and up to date. The ideal candidate has solid accounting experience, strong QuickBooks Online knowledge, is an Excel Expert, and can understand and communicate the financial health of the business. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Manage daily accounting activities in QuickBooks Online * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable * Review, process, and track invoices and vendor payments * Communicate directly with vendors regarding invoices, balances, and payments * Perform bank and credit card reconciliations * Reconcile tour revenue and operational income * Coordinate payroll and payroll reconciliations * Maintain organized and accurate financial records * Prepare month\-end reconciliations and support the closing process * Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management * Monitor cash flow, receivables, expenses, and upcoming financial obligations * Review revenue, expenses, margins, and operational performance * Prepare budget\-versus\-actual reports and basic financial forecasts * Identify discrepancies and follow through until they are resolved * Work directly with the company’s CPA and tax professionals to provide required information and ensure financial and tax matters are properly followed up and completed * Maintain appropriate accounting controls and support documentation * Provide management with clear and accurate financial information to support business decisions **QUALIFICATIONS** * 3–5\+ years of accounting or finance experience preferred * Strong QuickBooks Online experience * Excel Expert * Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations * Good understanding of cash flow and financial statements * Comfortable preparing financial and management reports * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail * Strong communication and follow\-through * Professional and comfortable communicating directly with management, vendors, and external accountants * English and Spanish required * Corporate accounting experience preferred * ADP or payroll experience preferred * Experience in hospitality, tourism, transportation, or a similar operational environment is a plus. Schedule flexibility is required based on business operations, including weekends when necessary.
