Frontend Developer

Web Software Developer – Front End **Location:** Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week) **Contract:** 6 months **Rate:** €500 per day About the Role We are looking for an experienced Web Software Developer with a strong front-end focus to join a technology team in Dublin on an initial 6-month contract. You will contribute to the development of modern digital products and cloud-based applications, working across front-end technologies and backend services to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, experience with modern front-end frameworks, and an understanding of APIs, databases and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications. * Build user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS. * Work with React, Next.js or similar front-end frameworks. * Integrate front-end applications with backend services and REST APIs. * Collaborate with developers and other technical stakeholders to deliver software solutions. * Work with cloud-based environments across Azure, AWS or GCP. * Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development. * Support application performance, testing, debugging and ongoing improvements. * Work with SQL and NoSQL databases where required. Required Skills and Experience * At least 3 years of commercial software development experience. * Strong JavaScript and TypeScript development skills. * Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS. * Commercial experience with React, Next.js or a similar front-end framework. * Experience working with Node.js, Express and REST APIs. * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP. * Experience using Git and GitHub. * Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a development team. Desirable Experience * Full-stack software development experience. * Experience building and integrating cloud-based applications. * Familiarity with modern software development practices and collaborative workflows.
