Assistant Accountant

**Part Qualified Accountant** **Dublin South (fully on-site in Dublin 24)** **Salary €40-50k.** This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified Accountant to join a house-hold name in the Irish market! Working in a really supportive team, you will be given full support for your remaining exams. Key responsibilities will include: * Preparing and posting journals accurately and on a timely basis. * Assisting with the month-end close, including accruals, prepayments and other month-end adjustments. * Completing balance sheet and bank reconciliations. * Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports. * Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring payroll-related accounts are reconciled. * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Requirements: * Part-qualified accounting status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). * Previous industry/commercial finance experience — this is essential. * Previous exposure to payroll processing and payroll reconciliations. * Good understanding of general accounting principles and financial controls.
