Tooling, Platform and DevOps Engineer

The Technical Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance and oversight across a portfolio of business-critical applications and technology services. The role leads the design, implementation, enhancement and support of technology solutions, ensuring they are secure, reliable, scalable and aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. Working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors and service providers, the Technical Lead is responsible for translating business requirements into effective technical solutions and ensuring the successful delivery of projects, operational improvements and sustainment activities. The role provides technical direction to multidisciplinary teams, supports strategic planning and contributes to the ongoing evolution of technology capabilities across the organisation. The position plays a key role in driving technical excellence, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring solutions are delivered in accordance with governance, security and compliance requirements. As a technical specialist, the Technical Lead provides expert advice and supports the continuous improvement of systems, processes and ways of working to achieve positive business outcomes.
