Job description from the source

**About Us** We are a secure, NZ-owned mid-tier construction company with a strong pipeline of commercial and infrastructure projects across the wider Auckland region. Our reputation for quality, reliability, and versatility is reflected through our longstanding relationships with repeat clients. With projects ranging from $2m-$30m across sectors including civil, infrastructure, energy, wastewater, education, and food & beverage, we offer our people variety, challenge, and opportunities to continue developing their careers. Our diverse project portfolio provides exposure to multiple disciplines, broadening experience and accelerating development. At Cassidy Construction, we offer an environment that recognises talent, where development is accessible and opportunities are easier to pursue. Our size allows us to stay agile in how we work, giving you the autonomy to make an impact. **The Opportunity** The role would suit an experienced or Senior Project Engineer - particularly someone with civil, structural, water, wastewater or broader infrastructure experience - who is ready to step into a Project Management pathway. You’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of project delivery from concept to completion, as well as manage an in-house construction team. The role will include a mix of site and office-based work (Kingsland), depending on project demands. It would suit someone who is technically strong, commercially aware, and motivated to grow into a PM role within a supportive, agile Tier 2 business. **What you’ll bring:** * 5+ years’ experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager, ideally within structural, water/wastewater or infrastructure environments * A track record of leading delivery across civil, structural and infrastructure projects * A relevant qualification (structural or civil engineering preferred; mechanical experience beneficial) * Strong organisational, communication, and relationship‑building skills * The ability to manage your own commercial requirements when needed * The ability to plan ahead * Confident user of Procore and MS Projects * A desire to step into a broader project management position **What’s in It for You?** * Competitive remuneration package including company vehicle and central carpark * Specialist in-house Learning & Development team * Long service recognition scheme * Annual health checks and a fully funded EAP * Office breakfast supplies and Friday lunches * Regular social events for you and your family * Genuine support through life’s unexpected moments
