Inside Account Manager / Sales Support Specialist

We provide uniforms, decoration services, and uniform accessories to public safety, first responder, medical, industrial, governmental, education, and hospitality organizations and due to continued growth, this will be an additional position on our team. Our search is for someone with proven and demonstrable experience in the specific responsibilities listed below; however, we are open to someone with relatively limited experience that has: · excellent written and verbal communication skills · sees reliability as a virtue · enjoys working in a team environment · ability to quickly learn our technology · expertise with Microsoft Outlook suite We are **willing to train** someone who wants to join a high\-energy, fast\-paced, and high\-expectation team. This account management role will also have a commission opportunity tied to performance. **Primary Roles \& Responsibilities:** **1\. Inside Account Manager (80% of time)** a. Manage a portfolio of current accounts by processing orders, providing quotes on new products, developing decoration services, introducing new product categories and creating goodwill. This will be done primarily utilizing phone, video and email communication. b. Prospect and develop new account opportunities. Follow up and engage with leads and marketing campaigns. c. Assist in customer on\-site projects such as sizing, project development and management and goodwill development, where geographically appropriate. d. Utilize Clarity Soft, our CRM, for account and activity tracking; Microsoft Outlook Suite including MS Teams; and Elevate, our phone and texting software. e. Participate in regular sales team training and one\-on\-one opportunity huddles and Plan \& Reviews. f. Become an expert on our product lines and develop relationship with our vendor reps. g. Participate in trade shows and sales conferences, when applicable. **2\. Sales Support Specialist (20% of time)** a. Assist multiple Senior Account Managers (Field Reps) in various sales\-related processes to assist them in supporting current as well as new account opportunities. Examples of these processes would include: * Processing product wear tests. * Set\-up and customer approval on custom product like badges. * Support on back orders, discontinued items and open PO requests. * Assisting in and assembling bid response packages. * Keying bulk orders. Position will require some limited travel to assist on employee sizings and other in\-person on\-site meetings at customer locations. Business travel is estimated at 10% of the work week and will normally be scheduled in advance of the travel. We will provide a company vehicle for business travel. What are your thoughts about law enforcement in general and supporting police officers, sheriff's deputies, and other law enforcement personnel more specifically? * This position will require some limited travel for \- we estimate about 10% of the time will be travel within a 3\-4 hour radius of Asheville, NC. We will provide a company vehicle for this business travel. Are you available for this amount of travel and do you have a valid state\-issues driver's license and a clean driving record.
