Software Engineer in Test

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of software test systems. * Prepare and maintain automated functional tests of software defined networks. * Mentor Associate Engineers and Technicians. * Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. **Required Qualifications** * B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent * Typically 2+ years experience in one or more of the following areas: + Object oriented design + Object oriented languages (C#) + Scripting languages (Python) * DevOps or CI/CD * Automated testing * Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills * Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities * Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment **Preferred Qualifications:** * Modern communications protocols * Ethernet networking * Software-defined networking * OT systems * Windows and Linux development experience * C/C++ * JavaScript/TypeScript/React * Project management **Location:** **Boise, ID** **Competitive pay. Our pay ranges are determined by job and responsibility.
