**STRUCTURAL TEAM LEADER** * **High\-Rise \& Major Commercial Structures \- Sydney** * **Future Associate Director / Director** * **Very generous salary package $210\-192k** A genuine leadership opportunity with one of Sydney’s fastest\-growing engineering consultancies. With a substantial forward workload and approximately 18 months of projects already forecast, this consultancy is looking for an experienced Structural Team Leader who can take increasing responsibility for its structures division. The project portfolio is substantial, with a strong focus on high\-rise buildings, major commercial developments and complex building structures. This is not simply about being the most senior technical engineer in the room. The opportunity is to progressively take the reins from the Directors and become responsible for the day\-to\-day leadership and performance of the structural team. **Your responsibilities will include:** • Leading and developing the structural engineering team • Managing major structural projects from concept through delivery • Providing technical direction and design oversight • Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients • Becoming a senior point of contact for clients, architects and project stakeholders • Managing project resources, programmes and commercial outcomes • Mentoring Senior and intermediate Structural Engineers • Working closely with the Directors on the continued growth of the structures business The career path is equally important. For the right person, there is a genuine progression opportunity from Team Leader into Associate Director and ultimately Director. You will be given increasing autonomy and responsibility rather than having to wait indefinitely for somebody above you to move on. **Ideally, you will bring:** • Strong Australian building structures consultancy experience • High\-rise and/or large commercial project experience • Excellent reinforced concrete and structural steel design knowledge • Strong technical structural engineering capability • Experience leading engineers and managing multiple projects • Confidence dealing directly with clients and other consultants • Strong communication and commercial awareness • The ambition to ultimately lead a structures business If you're already operating at Senior, Associate or Team Leader level but feel there is nowhere meaningful left to progress within your present consultancy, this is worth a confidential conversation.
