Growth Software Engineer

Premier Global Links LLC is recruiting on behalf of a confidential, fast-growing AI-powered education technology company. The company is transforming how children learn to read through innovative AI technology. We are seeking a hands-on **Lead Growth Engineer** to build and scale the company's growth engineering function. This is an opportunity to combine software engineering, product creativity, and business thinking to develop innovative features that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. **Key Responsibilities** * Build and launch product-led growth features and scalable acquisition strategies. * Develop referral programs, onboarding experiences, and user engagement features. * Design, prototype, and ship full-stack features across web and mobile platforms. * Run product experiments and analyze results to identify growth opportunities. * Improve user acquisition, activation, retention, and subscription conversion. * Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to deliver measurable results. * Leverage AI development tools to accelerate product development. **Required Qualifications** * 1+ year of full-time professional experience in software engineering or a related technical role. * Proven experience shipping consumer-facing growth initiatives with measurable results. * Strong software engineering fundamentals and full-stack development capabilities. * Experience with product analytics and experimentation tools such as SQL, Amplitude, or Mixpanel. * Familiarity with AI systems and development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code. * Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from idea to launch. * Bachelor's degree required. * Current U.S. work authorization. * Ability to work from the San Francisco office three days per week. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience at a high-growth startup, AI company, or consumer technology company. * Background as a technical founder, founding engineer, or early-stage startup employee. * Experience with React, Flutter, Python, iOS, or Android. * Familiarity with Stripe, Segment, Twilio, or SendGrid. * Experience building product-led growth strategies for consumer applications. **Compensation and Benefits** * Base salary: $175,000–$235,000 annually, based on experience. * 36 paid days off annually. * 100% employee healthcare coverage and 50% dependent coverage. * Medical, dental, and vision insurance. * 401(k) plan. * Paid team lunches twice per week. * Relocation assistance may be available. **Work Arrangement** Hybrid position based in the Mission District, San Francisco, CA, with three days per week in the office. **Equal Employment Opportunity** We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants.
