Full\-Time Teacher Assistant – 1st/2nd Grade Combination Class **The Atelier School \| Temecula, CA** **Full\-Time \| Monday–Friday \| 8:00 AM–5:00 PM** The Atelier School is growing, and we are looking for an **experienced, enthusiastic Full\-Time Teacher Assistant** to join our Primary School team! The ideal candidate will work alongside our Lead Teacher in our **First/Second Grade combination classroom**, helping create a warm, structured, engaging learning environment where children are known, supported, and challenged. The Atelier School is a small, private, nature\-based school inspired by **European educational philosophies, Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia**, while maintaining strong traditional academics. We value beautiful and thoughtfully prepared learning environments, hands\-on experiences, time outdoors, creativity, strong academics, and meaningful relationships with our students. **Responsibilities include:** * Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher in our 1st/2nd Grade classroom * Assist with small\-group and individual academic instruction * Support strong classroom routines and **excellent classroom management** * Assist and support our Kindergarten classroom as needed * Teach **Kindergarten Science once per week** * Assist with/teach **Physical Education** * Supervise students during classroom activities and outdoor learning * Work collaboratively and positively with our Primary teaching team * Support and carry through The Atelier School's curriculum, philosophy, and approach **We are looking for someone who:** * Has previous elementary classroom experience * Has strong classroom\-management skills * Is warm and nurturing while maintaining clear expectations for students * Is dependable, flexible, organized, and takes initiative * Enjoys working collaboratively rather than independently * Loves children and genuinely enjoys being in the classroom * Values hands\-on, nature\-based and experiential learning **alongside strong academics** * Is comfortable working with Kindergarten through Second Grade * Is excited to contribute ideas and become part of a close\-knit school community * Familiarity with **Abeka Language Arts is a bonus!** This is a wonderful opportunity for an educator who wants to be part of a growing school and appreciates an environment where teachers have the opportunity to be creative while working within a clear educational vision. **Hours:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM We Are Looking to Hire Soon!
