Senior Accountant (Dublin City Centre)

Our client is a leading Irish business. They are looking for an qualified accountant to join their well\-established finance team as a Senior Accountant. This role will suit a high performing and career focused finance professional. Main duties and responsibilities will include: * Lead period close, consolidation and reconciliation activities at Group and Business Unit level. * Co\-ordinate the annual statutory audit process, engaging with external auditors and delivering outputs to key internal and external stakeholders. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to various projects within the Accounting \& Reporting function. * Oversee and review accounting and reporting processes, ensuring record\-to\-report controls are operating effectively. * Address ad hoc queries and provide decision support across the business **ABOUT THE PERSON:** * Recently qualified or with 2\+ year post\-qualification experience, holding a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent). * Strong technical accounting knowledge combined with well\-developed analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Self\-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the business.
