You'll work across different warehouse and distribution functions, track shipment performance, resolve delivery delays, and spot practical ways to keep supply routes moving without a hitch. **Responsibilities Include** * **Coordinate Freight & Inventory Operations:** Oversee daily shipment dispatches and align delivery priorities across carriers and warehouse teams. * **Maintain Transit Procedures:** Establish and maintain supply chain procedures that keep inventory tracking and freight dispatches accurate. * **Track Delivery Metrics:** Monitor carrier timelines, review shipping logs, and track key logistics performance indicators (KPIs). * **Eliminate Distribution Bottlenecks:** Identify shipping delays or route inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions to keep deliveries on schedule. * **Manage Freight Resources:** Coordinate warehouse stock, loading schedules, and carrier capacity to support daily business demands. * **Collaborate Across Departments:** Work with department leads, suppliers, and freight vendors to clear shipping roadblocks quickly. * **Maintain Accurate Supply Records:** Keep precise logs of inventory counts, freight manifests, and carrier documentation. * **Review Dispatch Timelines:** Monitor transit progress against deadlines, delivery windows, and target schedules. * **Support Logistics Projects:** Assist with the planning and execution of warehouse organization, inventory audits, and logistics upgrades. * **Communicate Shipping Expectations:** Share process updates, routing guidelines, and delivery timelines clearly with relevant teams. * **Ensure Freight Compliance:** Help ensure shipping guidelines, facility safety rules, and transport requirements are consistently followed. * **Prepare Logistics Briefings:** Compile shipping summaries, inventory reports, and operational updates for management review. **You'll need:** * Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. * Clear written and verbal communication abilities. * The capability to coordinate multiple shipments, carrier updates, and competing deadlines. * Confidence reviewing shipping logs, identifying delay patterns, and tracking delivery performance. * Sound judgment when resolving transit conflicts and inventory discrepancies. * The ability to collaborate across teams and foster accountability across logistics partners. * Proficiency with standard office software, inventory systems, and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets). * A practical, hands-on approach to route planning and process optimization. *Previous experience in logistics, supply chain support, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or operations is valuable.
