Paralegal

Baltimore\-based insurance defense law firm seeks experienced **Civil Litigation Paralegal** for immediate position. Candidates must possess a minimum of five years' active and verifiable law firm experience and have a functioning knowledge of the Maryland Electronic Court filing system. The paralegal is responsible for managing and organizing files, preparing subpoenas and pleadings and summarizing medical and employment records as well as deposition transcripts. Candidate may be responsible for calendar management in conjunction with attorneys and secretaries related to scheduling depositions and independent medical evaluations and documenting motion's hearings, trials and client meetings. Candidates must demonstrate a history of accounting for and entering time within traditional billing systems and can coordinate the timely completion of assigned projects from multiple sources.
