Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily logistics operations, managing shipments, tracking deliveries, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and monitor daily shipping, receiving, and transportation activities. * Schedule shipments, deliveries, and pickups with carriers and vendors. * Track shipment statuses and ensure timely delivery of goods. * Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transportation documentation. * Communicate with suppliers, warehouse personnel, drivers, and customers to resolve logistics issues. * Prepare and review shipping documents, invoices, and delivery reports. * Identify and resolve transportation delays, discrepancies, and operational problems. * Assist with inventory management and stock movement coordination. * Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and transportation regulations. * Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations preferred. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. * Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. * Familiarity with inventory management or logistics tracking systems is a plus.
