Financial Accountant

TOM People are delighted to be exclusively partnering with our client a multinational high growth organisation to identify a **Financial Accountant** to join their finance team. This is in a newly created role to facilitate growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-stage ambitious accounting professional to take on a broad accounting role within a dynamic and growing organisation. **ABOUT THE ROLE:** * Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting * Supporting the group consolidation process * Preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of external audits * Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements * Assisting with the enhancement of financial controls, processes and reporting capabilities * Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and analysis * Supporting strategic finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives **ABOUT THE PERSON:** * Qualified accountant with 0-2 years PQE * Big 4 or Top 10 trained preferably * Strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience * Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders * Proactive, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities * Advanced Excel skills and strong systems experience preferred Hybrid working based in Wicklow, 3 days per week. *For a confidential conversation, please reach out to Bernie Duffy on bernie.duffy@tompeople.com*
