CAD Designer / Sales Support Specialist

**Role Description** Farrell is now hiring a CAD Designer / Sales Support Specialist in Commercial Furniture to join our team in Ardee, Co. Louth. This is a full\-time, permanent and office\-based role covering CAD technician, customer support and related duties. **Duties and Responsibilities** * 2D and 3D CAD work using AutoCAD, SolidWorks/SWOOD Design and AutoKitchen for renderings * Converting sales information into drawings, space plans and developing layout drawings and BOMs that can be loaded to our ERP system (Business Central) * Converting customer drawings to Farrell operational drawings * Composing and developing quotes/CAD for customers for projects * Developing call\-off sheets * Specifying furniture quotes and tenders using Excel and the quotation system on our ERP system * Actively liaising between the company and clients * Communicating regularly with clients in relation to ongoing requirements and orders * Composing and developing quotes/CAD for customers for a variety of projects, including single items through to multi\-storey buildings and complexes * Order input and breakdown using the appropriate software as designated by the company, currently our ERP system (Business Central) * Working with operations to improve product design * Code and BOM creation as required for the team within our ERP system when orders are confirmed * Site visits to measure rooms, assist on projects and assess requirements where necessary **Your approach to our customers will include:** * Taking sales enquiries and taking clients through the sales process and prices * Actively liaising with clients and coordinating the required changes until design sign\-off, including meetings, phone calls and Microsoft Teams meetings * Undertaking site surveys when required **Essential Criteria** * Minimum 2 years’ CAD experience * Fluent English * Full driving licence * Authorisation to work in Ireland **Working Hours** * Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4pm and Friday from 7am to 12\.15pm. * This is a full\-time, permanent and office\-based role at Farrell in Ardee, Co.
