Civil / Construction Engineer (HDD) at JD HDD Pte Ltd | Singapore * Salary: S$2,500 – S$3,800 per month * Employment Type: Full-Time **Job Summary** Plan, coordinate, and supervise Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and underground utility installation projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, regulations, and safety standards while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule. **Responsibilities** * Plan, coordinate, and supervise Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and underground utility installation works to meet project objectives * Monitor daily site activities to track project progress, quality standards, and safety compliance * Coordinate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and utility service providers to ensure smooth operations * Read and interpret construction drawings, utility plans, and technical specifications to guide site execution * Assist in preparing project plans, work schedules, method statements, and progress reports to support project management * Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project requirements, and relevant Singapore regulations * Identify and resolve site issues promptly to maintain safety and keep projects on schedule **Required competencies and certifications** * Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline * Relevant experience in civil engineering, construction, or underground utility works * Ability to understand engineering drawings and site documentation **Preferred competencies and qualifications** * Experience in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) or trenchless construction methods * Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills demonstrated in construction site environments * Responsible and independent work ethic with willingness to work on construction sites
