Azure Cloud Engineer

It addresses the demand for advanced cloud and enterprise technologies by providing specialized services in these areas. **About the Opportunity:** The AZURE CLOUD ENGINEER role is designed to lead and execute cloud engineering projects primarily focused on Microsoft Azure environments. The position plays a key role in designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure and services, contributing directly to the organization's capability to deliver robust cloud solutions. **Responsibilities:** * Design and operate Azure cloud infrastructure and services * Manage compute, storage, networking, identity, and platform\-as\-a\-service offerings within Azure * Implement infrastructure\-as\-code using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates * Design and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters at scale * Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions * Write automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, and Python * Apply cloud security principles, identity management, and compliance frameworks * Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability for distributed workloads * Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and document solutions **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline * Minimum five years of cloud engineering experience with at least three years on Microsoft Azure in production * Hands\-on experience with Azure core services and platform\-as\-a\-service offerings * Proficiency with infrastructure\-as\-code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates) * Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) management * Skilled in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD * Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python * Knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and compliance * Experience with monitoring and alerting strategies Preferred Qualifications: * Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert * Experience with hybrid or multi\-cloud environments * Familiarity with service mesh technologies on AKS * Exposure to FinOps and cloud cost management * Experience with regulated environments such as HIPAA, PCI\-DSS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP **Pay Range and Compensation Package:** * Salary range is $100,000–$150,000 annually **Equal Opportunity Statement:** Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
